Freedom by 50

I am 48 years old. I had a mantra through my 30’s. Something AMAZING is going to happen when I turn 40. I was aware that I had to show up to my own work to learn, grow and engage in my life. I did. For sure! And…something AMAZING did happen. First, the work I did as I was believing for 40 built a new level of awareness and confidence. I was understanding more and more my responsibilities to own my happiness and life. That right there is amazing. My parents invested in BEMER 2 months after I turned 40. Little did I know that would set me on a new path of self-discovery, another layer of confidence to unlock, as well as friends that would become lifelong friends. I feel deep gratitude that I can choose the BEMER lifestyle.

At 42 years old, I realized how powerful it was for me to have a mantra to live, breathe and believe with all my heart. It worked! What would my mantra to 50 be? Easy. Freedom by 50! That just sounds perfect. Yes, please and NOW. LOL I started saying it with a smile, believing it, knowing it felt good, but not having done the work to really decide what it meant for me. My older brother, Stephen, asked me shortly after I started to speak it. What does that mean for you? It just feels good. Let me THINK about this. When my brother asked me this question, he also gifted me a printed-out picture with my mantra. He included the bible verse; I will use my freedom to serve others in love. Beautiful.

Freedom by 50.

Freedom from insecurities that keep me from speaking up, saying ‘yes’, saying ‘no’. Freedom to be ME without apologies. Freedom to spend, give, vacation, take a year of leave. Freedom to LOVE my life, the messiness and beauty. Freedom.

I gain more clarity and understanding on my responsibilities to co-create this freedom, alongside and with a pure and perfect loving source.

I pay attention and get really curious when I do feel this freedom. I feel it often when I am doing things I love. When I am present, fully present with loved ones. I feel it when I am in solitude, listening to learning, notetaking, or engaging in pure silence. I feel this freedom when I am running and present to the JOY it inspires. I feel this when I do a cold plunge and feel absolutely calm and content and in awe of life.

Freedom by 50, and I use my freedom to serve others in love.

This mantra inspires a smile from the inside out.
